Saturday is Vintage Core Patterns Shopping Day

I am working with Maggie over at Vintage Core Patterns. She has just created a brand new website filled to the rafters with vintage patterns. All Sassy Lassie followers get a 20% discount on all patterns. Just click on the icon to the right and it will take you to her site. Use the code"Lassie Friend" and you will be sewing up a gorgeous outfit in no time.

Vintage Core Patterns is owned and operated by Maggie Matullo. A small family run business that got its start on Etsy.com, under the same name Vintage Core Patterns, and grew into its own little shop, here in its own domain. Maggie is a seamstress, and loves to wear vintage inspired styles. And began her own collection by researching, buying, and seeking out many of the rare patterns you see in her shop today.

Operated out of a New Jersey Home Studio where the patterns are stored in a 15 x 15 room size cedar closet, the patterns are treated like the collectible items they are.

We have a promise of a flat pattern, since many patterns that come from the past have a tendency to be folded improperly and sometimes fluffy. We are dedicated to pressing these patterns to ensure an easy start to your much anticipated project when you receive your pattern.

We specialize in any vintage era pattern that can look hot in today's fashion. So, if it is a Mad Men inspired shift dress, or a look you saw on that 70's show, we have it. We are always in the fashion know scouting the latest news off the runways and finding ways that these new styles reflect on the styles of the past.
