Lassie in Wonderland

My daughter thought she was being quite sassy as she snapped this shot of me at our Memorial Day picnic.

I could hear the mischief in her laughter and could only guess that the rear of me was about to be caught on digital. Once I saw the picture, it immediately reminded me of "Alice in Wonderland" and I liked it.

 

I love this apron and wore it all day long.

 

As a small child I loved to play croquet. I still love to play and we have the perfect flat lawn for it, although I was sorely out of practice and had my butt whooped by hubby's uncle...but not before his ball almost went down the "rabbit hole".

The pictures don't do this justice, but Uncle K. was just about to hit the blue ball and make it poison when his yellow ball sank deeply into a hole that seemed custom made for his ball. We all had a good laugh out of this.
