I May Just Have My MOJO Back

During the past 3-4 months where I have been AWOL from blogging, I have often thought of topics that I wanted to blog about when I finally got my blogging mojo back. But to tell you the truth, I have forgotten them all. Isn't life a blast?

For the past two weeks I have sat down to catch you up on all that Sassy has been doing, and have run into a brick wall. Well it actually has been a wall of (beware) mucus in my sinuses causing me days and days of headache and lethargy. At first I thought is was a migraine and treated it as such, but after days of it and a tickle in my throat appearing, I took it for just what is was. Allergies that have completely disturbed my sinuses. I have literally spent days and days just lying on the coach hoping to get some relief. Well relief has finally come with the addition of a netipot and Sinus Buster. I can't tell you the relief I feel, but now the heat...Oh dear God...the heat and humidity are oppressive and I work in a restaurant that is only slightly air-conditioned.

But today I put on my 1940's Ga Ga Ga Gingham dress and put my hair up in a vintage rolled style. I can't wait to hear the comments when I get to work.

Also since you last heard from me, we replaced this gawd awful rug which was in my sewing room, with the lovely one below. It changed the room completely and I find it oh so inviting now. Much more my style.

I have pulled my Rose Print Dress of out hiding and hope to hem it tomorrow morning and maybe just maybe start working on the jacket. I bet you have forgotten this dress completely, but truth be told, Peter sent me the fabric and I was so thrilled and then stuff happened in my life and it went under the radar for months. Now that he is sewing his, I have got to finish mine.

I am late for work. I really hope to get my act together and start this blog up where I left it off so many months ago. I look forward to hearing from you all again.
