Just in time for 70 degree weather!!

It is almost April 1st and I finished this adorable cowl/hood. I love it, but don't see myself putting it to much use until next winter. We have oodles of rain right now in the Northeast U.S. and soon to be 60 and 70 degree weather.

Here is a photo of it just around my neck. I have to admit I love the look of it pulled up the best.

Now I need to search out a perfect coat to wear with it.

The pattern is called Morgana Cowl. It was free with the stash of DK weight Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend yarn I bought at a shop in Portland, Maine called KnitWit Yarn Shop. It was made with the color Topaz. I am going to make another one in Hibiscus so I will be nice and warm next winter.

  1. I quite like this and the color is great on you. It reminds me of Claire McCardell's own "superman" hood obsession (from her love of ski-wear) which set off the fitted hood craze in the midcentury.
